It doesn’t surprise me, although both Jews and Gentiles are going to hate this answer.

God protected the Jewish genome for when His son would need a body. The genome, to an extent, favors the intellectual mind (the one thing the human body excels in.)

Although HE has come and gone, the protection of that genome has been maintained to an extent, in part because of the “separateness” taught by Phariseeism (the one branch to survive the events of AD70.)

Being smart doesn’t prevent being bullheaded, or flunking in “emotional intelligence,” as described in the book having that title.

Certainly over time, the shameful ways that Jews have been treated within Christendom would be a powerful disincentive to conversion.

I’m hardly sure why this was a requirement to prepare for Jesus, even with the belief that Jesus needed to be physically perfect. After all, at least part of Jesus’ DNA was directly from God, as He wasn’t a clone of Mary.

I spoke with a black elderly Jewish lady, and she was born in WWII and wasn’t allowed to practice her faith.

She told me God will forgive you 70 times 7 if you help yourself.
She doesn’t want to be remembered for her achievements or any books to be written about her as people have offered.

Jews are a minority religion, I do not think she was judging me, but of course would have biases.
