No it is not.

Fox news correspondent Bill O’Reilly is in hot water, once again, for a series of sexist, racist comments he made on-air about Maxine Waters, a democratic U.S. Representative for California’s 43rd congressional district, the Huffington Post reports.
During a recent segment of the right-wing news show Fox & Friends, the network aired a clip of Waters speaking out against Donald Trump’s supporters and their often bigoted, discriminatory practices. Instead of commenting on the content of the clip, O’Reilly thought it would be, somehow, humorous (??) to attack Waters’ appearance, saying, “I didn’t hear a word she said. I was looking at the James Brown wig. Do we have a picture of James Brown? It’s the same wig.”
Don’t Believe People Are Still Racist in 2017? Exhibit A: Bill O’Reilly

Why so many headlines calling his comments racist in the media then?

I would say by these standards, then calling Trump Cheeto for his hairstyle would be racist too.

It’s Scot (said the German-Scot), as far as I know as Scotch is a drink, and I believe he’s actually called that because of a fairly bad fake tan he showed up with once.

Because Maxine has the right politics, so there will always be sheep coming to her rescue.

Honestly, I do not know what you are trying to accomplish with this thread. I get it: leftists are hypocrites, but discussing it on CAF will only result in a locked thread and possibly get you suspended. I suggest you take this to a political forum.

Where? It’s totally racist , sorry. Ever been subject to racism because of your skin colour or ethnicity.

It’s more then that though, it’s not Christian. It’s breaking Commandments of love your neighbour and not offending others
I really don’t think that’s racist - and her hair is indeed atrocious. Terrible hairstyle for her and it does resemble something from about 1982. Ages her (and she’s one of my least favorite people, but that 'do does her no favors).
