Are Judith and Tobit false books of the Bible?

How do we as Roman Catholics reconcile the historical inaccuracies in Judith and the contradictions in Tobit? Many Protestants point to these and other issues as some of the reasons the seven deuterocanonical books were removed by the Reformers.
