Are marital relations sinful after a confessed vasectomy?

Was told by a priest in confession that marital relations with my wife after my vasectomy (two years ago) was not a sin. Still have my doubts/fears though. Any thoughts? Reversal is not an option with me…barely made it through the actual procedure.

No, not sinful at all. If it were, then we (vasectomy, hysterectomy, and menopause) would be in big trouble.

Just be open to life. Who knows what God’s sense of humor will lead him to do?

Once you have repented and confessed marital relations are not a sin as long as you climax in your wife’s vagina.
 
Not a sin. I know that at times we all think we have done something that we consider unforgivable. Trust me on this one, if you go to confession and sincerly confess your sin and the priest forgives you you are forgiven. Don’t worry about it ever again.
 
Thanks for the good advice. It is quite a heavy load off of my mind.🙂
