**Are masses run by the SSPX acceptable? **

No only acceptable … but preferable!

Thank you for making my point. I said earlier that everyone’s answer will depend on what they like and are attending as opposes to Church teaching.

Indeed let me reiterate to the OP or anyone else wondering. Go to the documents. See the cautions that the Church has given (as opposed to us posters) and then make a decision for yourself.

Newt, I couldn’t resist drawing you out!

“I will finish with my testament. I would like that it be an echo of the testament of Our Lord: a New and Eternal Testament…the heritage that Jesus Christ gave us, His Sacrifice, His Blood, His Cross. I will say the same for you: for the glory of the Holy Trinity, for love of the Church, for the salvation of the world: keep the Holy Sacrifice of Our Lord Jesus Christ! Keep the Mass forever!” (Archbishop Lefebvre, 23rd September 1979)

“Amen, amen I say to you, that you shall lament and weep, but the world shall rejoice; and you shall be made sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy” (John 16:20)

I wholeheartedly affirm this. Go to the documents. Listen to the voice of the Church and also go to God in prayer. As in everything he will lead you into all truth. Amen and amen. This means that I’m done.

We do go to the documents. All of them. We just don’t read them selectively, but in their entirety.

It’s frustrating to find there are participants engaging in discussions and/or debates while at the same time learning from their opponent.
