Are miracles tests of faith?

Since it seems miracles like bi location, or levitation, or Eucharistic miracles never happen in front of like a camera, atheistic scientists or non believers, or in completely unverifiable ways does that mean they are solely tests of faith? Why can’t a single person levitate when it’s proveable and only when it’s on the account of second hand stories? Same thing with bi location or the like. Why do mystics never confirm people’s faith? Wouldn’t God be able to prove a mystic is legitimate by having them tell the person evaluating them something they couldn’t possibly know?

If I remember correctly, St. John Vianney was particularly famous for his insight in the confessional. He could see into the heart of the penitent and knew things that the penitent had not shared with others.

But why no one who’s currently alive? Or are there and I am unaware!!!

There may be! Why do they have to be alive today? Must God perform miracles to the whims of live television even though people denied them when seeing them in person during His life? Why must there be cameras to prove its veracity? Contrary to what some atheists may be believe, people hundreds of years ago were not all gullible to every supposed superstitious action. Technology and “progress” have not necessarily made us better at separating fact from fiction. If the Pharisees denied Him despite seeing His miracles and hearing His words with their own two eyes, then others two millennia later will still find reason to deny Him.
