Are more people coming to Mass and Confession?

Do you think more people then before coronavirus are going to want to go to Mass and confession as states ease restrictions?
 
I think less people are going to Mass because the virus is still around. I don’t know about confession.
 
Our Western Civilization is dying. The US is dying.
We might see an uptick in religiosity due to Covid19, but I doubt it will be sustained.
On the very long term (decades or centuries), the western world may revive.
May.
 
I honestly don’t think more people will becoming to mass after the pandemic. I think that the people that have already stopped coming to mass will not not be moved to return because of the virus. It is unfortunate, and I don’t know what it would actually take for them to return.

If anything, I see some people getting used to not going to mass, and not returning.
 
If by this time next year there are the same number of practicing Catholics, I would be astonished.

My parish is the second largest in a small diocese, I think something like a few hundred people at each of the 6 masses on Sundays pre-COVID.

Now we’re having masses again (but not on Sundays, only noon and 6pm Monday - Friday, per pastor directive) and I made it on Wednesday. There was around 20 people there at 6pm. I understand people are busy, and have developed a routine for Sunday’s, but still! I do not see a desire for Mass among regular Catholics.
