Benjamin, I do take what they say seriously, otherwise what other reason would I have for posting what I do. However, even I need a psychological break now and then from all this talk about pedophiles, terrorists, gouging eyes and headless corpses. Hence, my smileys, they were in effect, a way of deflecting anger and injecting a little humour.

I’m trying to reconcile the defamatory things some here say about him and what Muslims believe. I think the truth is somewhere in the middle.

Or to put it another way: if he’s as bad as you say, how do Muslims effectively “whitewash” him in order to present a figure worth honoring. I think it’s an interesting question.

After 9/11 , I thought there is no chance that Islam can remain in USA , no chance. But later I read that few thousands Amercians so far ( after that tragedy) became Muslims. I have to browse for the exact figures .

Well considering al’lah supposedly dictated the quran to muhammad through an angel, dont you think he would have pulled up muhammad and told him 9 years old was a little young to have sex with?
