Are Muslims okay with Muhammed actions?

Moses urged his men to commit genocide and to enslave every virginal girl of the Midean population (the boys (virgin or not) were to be slaughtered). Mohammed was truely mad, but the Jewish prophets were amoung our species’ most evil members. They urged slaughter on a regular basis. Read the OT and compare their actions to Mohammed. If you do you’ll see that Mohammed comes out looking like a Quaker.
Please provide the chapter and verse(s).

Using tu quoque does not make Muhammad come out smelling like anything other than he was - a murderer, who stole, enslaved, assasinated, tortured, etc.

You must be Shia then, because most of the reports come from the Sahih al-Bukhari hadiths, which no good Sunni would deny. You realize that since you are a Shia then the act of thighing a female child is perfectly permissible to for you.
Planten is Ahmadi, which as far as I can tell is not a part of either of the major sects, but something else. They believe in another prophet after Muhammad, so mainstream Islam considers them heretical.

Hey my dear brother Sam,great post with evidences:hug1:.What a perfect punch to them, who are trying to deceive others by trying to find false workarounds for Muhammed actions!Carry on brother:thumbsup:.May Our lord Jesus always protect you my dear friend Sam.:amen:

So if our prophet was allowed to divorce his wives, the Muslims are truly allowed to use divorce. It is not a forbidden item. Even in bibleNT it is not absolutely forbidden. There is such a wording that Divorce is forbidden except in the case of… So there is allowance to use divorce in christianity under some circumstances only, very rare circumstances**.
If you’ll read the entire verse, you’ll see DIVORCE is not forbidden, it is REMARRIAGE after divorce that is forbidden.

Matthew 5:32
But I say to you, whoever divorces his wife (unless the marriage is unlawful) causes her to commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery
.

*Matthew 19:7-9
7
They said to him, “Then why did Moses command that the man give the woman a bill of divorce and dismiss (her)?”
8
He said to them, “Because of the hardness of your hearts Moses allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so.
9
I say to you, **whoever divorces his wife (unless the marriage is unlawful) and marries another commits adultery.” **
10 *
*
Mark 10:2-12
2
The Pharisees approached and asked, “Is it lawful for a husband to divorce his wife?” They were testing him.
3
He said to them in reply, “What did Moses command you?”
4
They replied, “Moses permitted him to write a bill of divorce and dismiss her.”
5
But Jesus told them, “Because of the hardness of your hearts he wrote you this commandment.
6
But from the beginning of creation, ‘God made them male and female.
7
For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother (and be joined to his wife),
8
and the two shall become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two but one flesh.
9
Therefore what God has joined together, no human being must separate.”
10
In the house the disciples again questioned him about this.
11 **
He said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her;
12
and if she divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.” ***

I was wondering if anybody could still give me a source where Mohammed slaughtered 900 hundred Jews or something like that. I`m quite interested to find out if he did slaughter other Abrahamic religions.

The number of men beheaded is not consistent in the history, some say 600, some say up to 900. Whatever the number - one was too many and that wasn’t the end of his battles. And then do not discount the raids, or what they called ‘razas’ against poorly armed caravans whose main mission was for trade and not warring that had women and children and other goods, who were enslaved and the goods were stolen. And what happened to the rest - the boys that ‘did not have hair’ and women and the rest of the children were enslaved.

Many of this battle were pagans, but some were Jews. I don’t remember if there were Christians in that city.

One time Muhammad killed a man for stealing one of his camels - a camel that Muhammad stole. Muhammad had a man tortured because he believed the man hid part of his goods. When the man told him where it was hidden, Muhammad killed the man.

Why are you afraid of these books, and websites?

Actually, these are very legitimate and historically correct. Each of the books has references, not only to Islamic texts, but Islamic historians also.

I think that if you read them you might then be able to talk about them. I have indeed read them.

The legacy of Jihad in Islam is bloody and cruel. And it is fashioned after their Prophet, Muhammad.

If one wants to see some justification for why some wage such bloody Jihads against those who are unarmed, take a look at this letter written by a Muslim to justify the killing of so many unarmed civilians on a campus. All references are to the Quran. I am only pointing this out due to the references to Jihad in the Quran.

I will post it here - copy it to your PC and use an editor to make it more clear.

**Algabriel, when presented with truth of the matter from bibleOT you ask for references. You have a right to ask for reference. But it only complicates matters and shows that you are unaware of many things. It is not a secret that Jews after coming out of slavery in Egypt were given harsh orders to kill every one of nations living around Kana’an. They were told not to spare the ladies and the children and the animals. How Cruel !! How come you do not know these things?

Why is it that you know everything about Muhammad but you do not know about your ancestors ( i.e. The Jews).??

planten, if you don’t know then just say so. There is nothing wrong with that. But, to keep on going is just obnoxious.

Your intention is not discussion but bashing. I just asked for references because when I blog on this forum, I have my Bible next to me and I look things up. I don’t always know where to look for specific things when they are brought up.

I find your post insulting and just plain, old nasty.

by the way, my ancestors were not the Jews. They were Catholics since they come from the British Isles and before the Catholics they probably were pagans. And then on the other side of the family, they were Catholics too and before that they probably were the pagans from the Roman empire before they converted. I do not know since my ancestory does not go back that far - only the Catholic side of both sides of my family am I aware of.

and if you are truthful about yourself your ancestors might have been Hindus, or buddhists. Maybe even Christians.

10
qui est ce, thanks for permitting the catholics for divorce. At you have given permission for divorce. That is a great leap forward. Forget remarriage. Thanks for agreeing to me that divorce is necessary and allowed.

**I agree with you and I agree with Jesus. The Jews after living in slavery under the Egyptians had become hard hearted. That is told to us by our prophet Muhammad. The Jews were hard hearted and they were just acting on the words (literal words) of Torah without having any insight into the wisdom of the teachings. Jesus came to make them understand.

The Jews had become extremists and hard hearted. Jesus gave them the correct teachings and taught them not to use the divorce too much. He said that Allowance was there in the law of Moses. But it was because of the Jews being hard hearted. It was not to be misused.

Jesus taught them to avoid the divorce except in extreme bad conditions. So Jesus did not stop the divorce. The church had taken an extreme stand on teh opposite side of the Jews stand in favor of divorce. The church made the divorce illegal. That was not the right thing to do.
Of course if there is divorce, there will be remarriages. If there is divorce there have to be remarriage.it is a must. You cannot have divorced men and women walking the streets in large numbers. Please, know that we muslims agree to the wise and good teachings of Jesus. We understand and agree. The teachings of Muhammad are the same those of Jesus in this regard. Only a slight difference may be noted. No great difference at all.

Now that you have admitted that divorce is not forbidden in christianity then you have come half way closer to Islam. Thanks. I admire your post, your bringing the truth to me.**

:rotfl::rotfl:

remarriage is not a necessity. And divorce does not make one closer to Islam. Leaving God does though. You can call it whatever you want, but Allah is not something I want to bow down to and Muhammad is not someone that I call an honorable person.

Why is the book “The 100 Greatest Men in the World” a legitimate reference all of the sudden? If the person in the #1 position had been Jesus Christ or (Allah forbid!) if Muhammad had not made the list at all, you would not be in favor of it at all, Planten.

I’m sure I could find lists that place Muhammad as #1 most evil man in history (heck, I would only have to do a 0.5 second search on “R_Not”'s posts, I’m sure! :p), but that just shows you how little personal opinion matters to anyone who does not already agree with it.

**Algabriel, You should browse and find out what orders were given to the Jews when they came out of slavery in Egypt. Or ask some of your more learned Talented Catholics. You will come to know about all the worst kind of harshness. That is in the bibleOT. Not bibleNT. That is all in bibleOT, the book of your ancestors by the way of your religion, not by race. Jews are the fore-runners, leaders and ancestors of the christians because the christians have the bibleOT tied up with the bibleNT. And also because your god Jesus was a Jew.

I may have been a hindu or a priest or a budhist. No harm to me now. That would not be my religious ancestors. That will be only by race.

You are avoiding the issue of divorce again and not coming straight forward about the strict church teaching against divorce as if it was sin. One of the friends here has agreed that Jesus did not disallow divorce. Whether it brings you closer to God (Islam) or not does not matter. It brings the christians closer to reality. That is good for them.

Once admitted that in Catholics, divorce is permissible, we will soon take up the case of remarriage (after divorce). Thanks.**

This is Jihad against the WHOLE world. Jesus was right when He told us that we have to look out for false prophets and by their fruits we will recognize them!!!

At least this thread proved two things. Mohammed was an evil, cruel, and wicked person, and Muslims are **a-**okay with it!!!

  1. Oh believers, do not treat your fathers and mothers as your friends, if they prefer unbelief to belief, whosoever of you takes them for friends, they are evil-doers. (Repentance: 20) 7. Humiliate the non-Muslims to such an extent that they surrender and pay tribute. ( Repentance: 29 )
Is this really in the Koran???!!?!!

Sura (9:30) - “And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!”

Sura (2:191-193) - “And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution [of Muslims] is worse than slaughter [of non-believers]…and fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah.”

Sura (2:244) - “Then fight in the cause of Allah, and know that Allah Heareth and knoweth all things.”

Sura (4:74) - “Let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of this world for the other. Whoso fighteth in the way of Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, on him We shall bestow a vast reward.”

Sura (8:12) - “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them”

Sura (8:57) - “If thou comest on them in the war, deal with them so as to strike fear in those who are behind them, that haply they may remember.”

Sura (9:14) - “Fight them, Allah will punish them by your hands and bring them to disgrace…”

The angel that Muhammad was supposed to have met in the cave while meditating and who brought down the Qur’an for recitation. In the first encounter, Aisha related that when Muhammad did not recite, Gabriel caught him (forcefully) and pressed him so hard that he could not bear it anymore, and this was repeated three times. Gabriel left Muhammad terribly shaken. Muhammad feared that something might have happened to him, returned and asked Khadija to cover him until his fear was gone. Muhammad thought that the spirit was a jinn. (Sahih Bukhari 1.3) He even contemplated commiting suicide by throwing himself down a mountain.

Gabriel’s appearance in the Bible

In contrast, the Bible recorded four incidences of Gabriel’s appearance to man, two to Daniel:

And I heard a man’s voice from the Ulai calling, “Gabriel, tell this man the meaning of the vision.” As he came near the place where I was standing, I was terrified and fell prostrate. “Son of man,” he said to me, “understand that the vision concerns the time of the end.” While he was speaking to me, I was in a deep sleep, with my face to the ground. Then he touched me and raised me to my feet. **(Daniel 8:16-18) **

While I was speaking and praying, confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel and making my request to the LORD my God for his holy hill-- while I was still in prayer, Gabriel, the man I had seen in the earlier vision, came to me in swift flight about the time of the evening sacrifice. He instructed me and said to me, "Daniel, I have now come to give you insight and understanding. **(Daniel 9:20-22) **

But the angel said to him: "Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard…Zechariah asked the angel, “How can I be sure of this? I am an old man and my wife is well along in years.” The angel answered, "I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to tell you this good news. **(Luke 1:13,18-19) **

*In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. The Angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.” Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid,Mary, you have found favor with God. *(Luke 1:26-30)

We see that in the three incidents that Angel Gabriel first appeared, he sought to allay the fears of those seeing him. He must have been an awesome sight to behold. He touched Daniel and raised him to his feet, and told Zechariah and Mary not to be afraid. Also, Gabriel always made sure that the recipients understood the message he brought. The Angel Gabriel does not leave his recipients in total disarray and confusion. Compare this with the reaction of Muhammad when the spirit appeared to him in the cave. Muhammad was so totally confused and was so fearful that he sought comfort from his wife and even wanted to commit suicide.

The following verse taken from the Bible explains what has happened:

2 Corinthians 11:14

And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.

I am sad that I have to agree with this post.
It truly seems from all the evidence that Muhammad was met and maybe even possessed by an evil spirit.
We know the first fruit of the Holy Spirit is peace. Muhammad was suicidal. I pray for the Moslems who see this and know in their hearts that their prophet was disturbed that they will have the courage to act on what they realise and ask the True God to teach them.

I was wondering if anybody could still give me a source where Mohammed slaughtered 900 hundred Jews or something like that. I`m quite interested to find out if he did slaughter other Abrahamic religions.
Hi Benjamin, here are some sources for you:
