I have read that the catechism teaches that Muslims worship/adore the same God we do as Catholics and are included in our salvation plan. Why then are so many people negative about Muslims (I realize isis is a major cause).
I feel that we as Catholics and Christians want to separate ourselves from them, but are we not called to love all even if they do not believe as we do in the Trinity, the Son, and the Deity of Christ. They may want to kill us as Christians, but we are still called to love them are we not ?
All I ever get are negative comments and hateful threads on these our brothers !
After all, they claim to come from Ishmael and we come from Isaac, are we not true brothers believing in the same God…
How can we teach others to Love those that don’t see our viewpoints as we do ?
It seems to me, we have done this to our Jewish brothers also at one time…
