Are my sins still pardonned officially?

Today I just got my first confession since a month and I am happy!! I took the body and blood of Our Lord right after…

The only problem was that I was forgiven without the Act of Contrition… I was starting to worry, because I thought that the sacrament is not without a form of the Act of Contrition… did he forget, I don’t know…

Am I still able to take the Eucharist although the Act of Contrition was forgotten?
 
“Those sins you forgive, they are forgiven…” I’m pretty sure the Act of Contrition is a discipline. If the priest gives you absolution, then you are ready to go!

There is one priest at our parish who often skips having the penitent say the act of contrition; just goes on to give absolution. It’s OK. Just say the Act of Contrition on your own, either before or after confession.
 
The Rite of Penance as approved by the Church requires an Act of Contrition. However, the Sacrament itself does not require this in order to be valid. All that is necessary is repentance on the part of the penitent and the words of absolution on the part of the priest.
