Are non-Catholics allowed in the Sanctuary

Indeed, wise words.

I think here in the UK, a small and overcrowded island, we are very conscious of the need for tolerance. This has led us to be more outgoing and ecumenical, perhaps, than many countries.

For example, non-Catholics have been invited to come forward for a blessing at Communion time since a conference of bishops at Swanwick in the 1970s.
I wasn’t there and I don’t like to second guess the bishop. In the end it is his responsibility to make sure his flock is well and appropriately served.

Real tolerance and charity is to bring everybody to the one true faith represented by the Roman Catholic and Apostolic Church.

Indeed, yes. And a first step to that is to be welcoming as Jesus was welcoming.

Well, that is a slap in the face to the other 23 or so churches in communion with Rome . . .

Perhaps your Archbishop reasons that the homily is part of the Liturgy of the Word which is centered around the bible which Anglicans and Catholics agree on mostly (including the deuterocanonical books) so it is safe to swap pulpits.
