I have read that only marriages between baptized Christians are considered sacramental and thus indissoluble. Are marriages between two unbaptized people permanent, or can they be dissolved without an annulment? Thank you.

Dear friend,

The Church recognizes marriages between the non-baptized, though not sacramental, to be valid. They are therefore, indissoluble. If the should become baptized, then such marriages would be valid and sacramental.
