Are non-Christian religions acceptable?

Christ openly revealed everything to the Apostles. Pope Francis just sits back and does nothing. Just admit it, he’s not a good leader.
you’re addressing my post?
You say Christ revealed everything to the apostles.
Why were they not at the crucifixion? Where were they in the midst of that confusion?

“They were on their way up to Jerusalem, with Jesus leading the way, and the disciples were astonished, while those who followed were afraid. Again he took the Twelve aside and told them what was going to happen to him. ‘We are going up to Jerusalem,’ he said, ‘and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death and will hand him over to the Gentiles, who will mock him and spit on him, flog him and kill him. Three days later he will rise.’” - Mark 10:32-34
The simple fact of the matter is is that at the time the 12 (except for John) were cowards. They didn’t find their courage until after the resurrection.

Right, and where do you fit into that scenario?
You are accusing the Church of confusion.

I think you just stepped in front of the mirror.

I don’t even know what you’re attempting to get at here.
Maybe the confusion you accuse the Pope of is on you.
Throughout the history of the Church we have been bewildered by many things.

Blaming the Church and it’s leaders is juvenile.

Also, I’m talking about dogmatic teaching, Eddie. Things all Catholics are required to believe. We’re not required to believe whatever Pope Francis says on a plane…or whatever he is misreported as having said, or whatever he says that is then spliced or reported out of context.
And I don’t agree with all his ‘airplane quotes,’ real or otherwise. They’re not dogmatic.

How can one be a Catholic priest and also a practicing Zen sensei at the same time? It’s miraculous!

A Roman Catholic priest who is also a Zen sensei.
What a whacky, wonderful world!

Anyway I’m encouraged by the new spirit of convergence (none dare call it by any other term). Glory be! I’ve always wanted to work a little druidry, myself. It’s all good!

Do your own search. If it takes more than 10 seconds, try different key words. Actually the “and” isn’t necessary.

Maybe once upon a time, the worship of a Trinitarian G-d would have been considered idolatry according to Judaism. But it is no longer regarded as such by most Jews.
I am not sure about this. According to Judaism, is it not true that God is One? I heard more than one rabbi, even a reformed rabbi, say that a Jew cannot accept Jesus. Once you accept Jesus, you are a Christian and no longer are a Jew. Further, does not Judaism regard the Eucharist as idolatry and Maimonides has said that bowing to icons and kissing the icon is a form of idolatry?

No assertion. Fact. And I’m not saying there’s anything at all wrong with it. Nope.
Do you know how to do a very basic Internet search?

Canon 2316: “Those who communicate with heretics in divinis are themselves suspect of heresy”

“None must neither pray or sing psalms with heretics, and whosoever shall communicate with those who are cut off from the communion of the Church, whether clergyman or layman, let him be excommunicated” - Council of Carthage, 398

Canon 33: No one shall join in prayers with heretics or schismatics - Council of Laodicea (372)
Pope Francis, “Not long ago I was in a synagogue taking part in a ceremony. I prayed a lot and, while praying, I heard a phrase from one of the books of wisdom that had slipped my mind: ‘Lord, may I bear mockery in silence.’ It gave me much peace and joy.”
Conversations With Jorge Bergoglio, p. 208:
