We all agree on the fact that the entity so called self/soul is very important part of everybody beings since it is responsible for our consciousness, thinking, feeling etc. The question is whether our selves is similar to each other or not? This question is important since creating one self greater than another self is against Devin justice. In another hand creating all selves similar is nonsense.

First of all, the " self " is not identical to the soul. The " self " refers to the entire human person, body and soul together as one single being. And yes we are all similar to one another. And it does not detract from God’s justice that one person is better or worse than another in one or more ways. God’s justice is something we are not qualified to judge. But we can be certain that God is always just in whatever he does.

Creating all selves similar to each other doesn’t imply one is greater than another. An anology: a potter creates many pots that are similar but not identical to each other. Differences identify each pot but do not connote greatness or “lessness”.

I like your idea. But I would change it to “All souls have something in common, each soul has something unique”. The first phrase define functionality and second phrase define the personality.

First of all, the " self " is not identical to the soul. The " self " refers to the entire human person, body and soul together as one single being.

By self I meant soul, sorry for using different terminology.

And yes we are all similar to one another.

Come on, we are similar in eyes of God but no one can say that we are similar.

You are saying opposite of what you said.

God’s justice is something we are not qualified to judge.

I’m challenging what appears to be your premise that similar means identical. We were all created individuals, unique unto ourselves, not identical. These differences don’t imply that one is greater than another. At the same time we share common characteristics, such as a longing for God. If all souls were identical we would be nothing more than clones.

Thomas would say we all share the very same nature, but we are all different ‘substances’ (let’s say beings, if it’s easier to grasp).

It’s like all Ferrari Testarossa (FT).

All FT have the same nature (the FT nature) but they are all different (they are not all perfectly equal, but even if they were each of them would be their own being).

Humans are a bot more diverse, so we are also each a unique individual.
