Are protestants able to go to Heaven? Can they be saved?
YaAre protestants able to go to Heaven? Can they be saved?
even if they never join the catholic church?
Yes.even if they never join the catholic church?
Yaeven if they never join the catholic church?
Yep. Once you get there you’ll have a change of heart though.Yes. We Protestants can go to Heaven.
We can remain protestants, and stiiiiilll get into Heaven.
Yepeven if they never join the catholic church?
i wanted to know if protestants can be save without joining the catholic church. Why limit to Protestants? It is also possible for Jews, Muslims, and other nonChristians to be saved. . .
IOW, what is the point of the question? Nobody ever said that ‘only Catholics are saved’. . .
Another poster summed it up pretty clearly. . .Catholics have the fullness of truth. Protestants have part of the truth.
Now, if I have a fully stocked pantry, I’m more likely to be able to cook a well-balanced, tasty and nutritious meal for my family.
If I have only a partly stocked pantry, I could still wind up with a well balanced, tasty and nutritious meal. . .but it would be harder work for me.
Of course, if I were a really good cook, I could take that partly stocked pantry and easily make a good meal. . .
and if I were a terrible cook, even a fully stocked pantry might not be enough for me to cook something edible.
But all things being equal. . .
If one assumes two people with average ability. . .
The person with the well stocked pantry is going to have an easier time producing a well balanced, tasty and nutritious meal than the person with the partially stocked pantry.
CCCi wanted to know if protestants can be save without joining the catholic church.
WOW, I don’t think you could have sounded more pompous, superior or holier-than-though if you TRIEDYep. Once you get there you’ll have a change of heart though.![]()
God is not boxed in by “religion”, so I think once in heaven, there will be only LOVE, not “religion” and titles and labels. On Earth, we have labels and titles, but God is bigger than that.Yep. Once you get there you’ll have a change of heart though.![]()
Only God knows. Are protestants able to go to Heaven? Can they be saved?
Saying God isn’t boxed in by religion (or at least theology) is like saying the universe isn’t boxed in by physics. True but… misleading if taken the wrong way. Whether or not we call ourselves Catholic after death is somewhat irrelevant, but if Catholic teachings are true we will know it. If Calvinism is correct, the same applies. As a Catholic, I bet you can guess which outcome I predict.God is not boxed in by “religion”, so I think once in heaven, there will be only LOVE, not “religion” and titles and labels. On Earth, we have labels and titles, but God is bigger than that.
Don’t alienate people.![]()
I dont believe he was too far off the mark. There is only One Church, and there will always be One Church. Do I believe protestants go to heaven? You bet! but when they get there, they will be fully members of the One Church Christ Paid for in blood. PeaceWOW, I don’t think you could have sounded more pompous, superior or holier-than-though if you TRIED

Well said. question is why are we boxing God to a religion here on earth?***God is not boxed in by “religion”, ***so I think once in heaven, there will be only LOVE, not “religion” and titles and labels. On Earth, we have labels and titles, but God is bigger than that.
