Are Protestants taught that the Church Encouraged selling Indulgences?

I was just about to ask the same question.

Shouldn’t you be teaching them about your beliefs, in Confirmation?

Part of our beliefs is to not think we are the only right ones in Christianity.

What does that mean?

Either yours is the best possible belief system to have (in which case the young people should join your church and not worry about what other groups believe in), or it is not (in which case, they should keep looking).
