On the contrary…
I can speak as a former non Catholic Christian…That I have nothing but great love and respect for my protestant brothers and sisters in Christ. We come from different angles, but we are proclaiming the same Lord and Savior
Code:
I find that converts to Catholicism ussually have good feelings towards their protestant heritage, because it was what started their faith journey home to Rome.
But it seems so many who have left the Catholic faith, harbor resentment and ill-concieved notions about the Church they left, and often lash out on boards such as these, or worse; in interaction with Catholics in real life.
Code:
What prodigal, myself, and others are taking issue with...is when somebody who outright rejects the Church, tries to lead others astray, through confusion and false assumption. Through blatent mockery (seriously, cartoons of "old man tradition???" ) and other venues to dishonestly make a point.
I’m all for sharing our faith, and I don’t think you’d find a single Catholic on these forums who “has an issue with non-Catholic Christians.”
