Are Roman Catholics too senstive?

I’m almost 100% sure that he is. Reformed was most likely banned for his expressed contempt for our most holy faith and seeking to proselytize Catholics out of the faith, both of which are serious violations of the CAF Forum Rules and Banned Topics.

Keep dreaming. You opened this thread and now that you’re refuted you want to divert attention from it and the fact that you are almost certainly Reformed circumventing a previous ban for persistent misconduct.

That would mean that you apparently feel that it is alright to lie when you join a forum and that your word means nothing even in your efforts to share your errant faith.

Who is the father of lies according to the Word of God? :ehh:

And what does the Word of God say about being truthful?

Obviously you have serious issues with non-Catholic Christians. I bet you were once a non-Catholic Christian. Please pick a biblical doctrine and start a thread that is worth discussing. And please make it a worthwhile topic, and not a generic Roman Catholic idea of a discussion such as “where does the bible teach scripture alone”, etc. Let’s discuss salvation issues… or biblical doctrine that will grow all of our affection for God. I am enjoying my visit here with the motivation to help all of us to love God deeper. Growing in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, and growing in our love for God goes beyond divisions within Christendom. The body of Christ in reality is not divided in the mind of God. The body of Christ is divided in the minds of redeemed sinners who are in process of transformation. I have dscovered once we realize that all Christians are sinners in process, we are able to love and respect other Christans who may see things quite differently.

On the contrary…

I can speak as a former non Catholic Christian…That I have nothing but great love and respect for my protestant brothers and sisters in Christ. We come from different angles, but we are proclaiming the same Lord and Savior:)

I find that converts to Catholicism ussually have good feelings towards their protestant heritage, because it was what started their faith journey home to Rome.
But it seems so many who have left the Catholic faith, harbor resentment and ill-concieved notions about the Church they left, and often lash out on boards such as these, or worse; in interaction with Catholics in real life.

What prodigal, myself, and others are taking issue with...is when somebody who outright rejects the Church, tries to lead others astray, through confusion and false assumption. Through blatent mockery (seriously, cartoons of "old man tradition???" ) and other venues to dishonestly make a point.
I’m all for sharing our faith, and I don’t think you’d find a single Catholic on these forums who “has an issue with non-Catholic Christians.”

That being said, would you like to start a thread on biblical doctrine that will help all of us grow in our love for God? Those are the most important topics for all Christians to discuss. It’s not that we love God too much, we as 21st century Christians love God too little and love the world too much. That is the reality for all of Christendom.

Let’s discuss Biblical doctrines, BUT NOT a non-Biblical doctine such as sola scriptura? A worthwhile topic would be establishing the authority of sola scriptura or the authority of the Church prior to accepting your private interpretations themselves as doctrines.

I do not have serious issues with non-Catholics who are sincere about discussions. I do have issues with those whose purpose is to bash Catholicism or to try and pull Catholics away from the one true Church.

Old Man Tradition is not the same as Sacred Tradition. Actually, I embrace much of what you may call Sacred Tradition as truth.
 
You have consitently attacked the Catholic faith, with no other goal than to proselytize (just so you don’t need a dictionary, that means to persuade to convert to your faith). I know your tactics, I used to be like you, until I found the CHurch founded by CHrist, The Catholic CHurch.

Of course we do. If you knew your Scriptures as well as you think you do, you would see that it is the Church, and not the Scriptures that have been given the final authority. We need to know the Scriptures, but It is the Church that is the Pillar of Truth

We’ve been trying… You started several threads: “God’s amazing grace…” “Do you love Jesus more than your Church?” “Jesus Christ is everything”

And every time we try to discuss things on these threads you either change the subject, or leave/start a new thread.

It seems you are the one who has no interest in serious discussion.
