An AOG friend of mine recently quoted this from the CCC " “The Church affirms that for believers the sacraments of the New Covenant are necessary for salvation.” (p. 319)
They claim this contradicts with the concept of salvation by grace, justification by faith(romans3:28, romans5:1 etc) and John3:16 about whoever believes will have eternal life. Why then are the Sacraments stated as required for salvation, what about those who do not receive them?
