Not Really… I grew up Roman Catholic.
Gee…so did I.
In my adulthood I read the Bible cover to cover several times and found I was wrong.
Gee…so did I.
I then repented of the evil.

We should no longer try to ask God to answer our will, but rather strive to conform to his.
This is bunkum.

I don’t think you can prove that this is some sort of Catholic teaching from any authentic Catholic source.

It appears that despite your reading the Bible “cover to cover several times” you still bought into the teachings of men.

Now here you are offering opposition to things that the Catholic Church doesn’t really teach and you call it “evil”. Just what are you trying to allege is “evil” This may turn into another whole thread.

Implying the Catholic Church is evil and that following her Teachings is something we must repent of is profoundly disrespectful.

This is exceedingly uncharitable and just plain mean.

I don’t know about that Brother of mine, but I do see it as baseless rhetorical propaganda which makes its proponent look kinda silly (to say the least).

I do not know if that is a loaded question, a legit question, or just someone trying to understand the RCC position on prayers to Saints.

Whichever, Saints are NOT Angels. Saints in the Kingdom have a higher position than the Angels, since Saints are the Bride of Christ. Saints will even judge the Angels.

1 Corinthians 6:3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
Saints and Angels are not the same. That’s a given. So, then can somebody explain to me why we call angels saints? i.e. St. Michael, St. Gabriel, etc. I am very confused about this. Thanks!

Saint = Holy

Saint Gabriel= Holy Gabriel

They are being called “holy”.
