Having read Fr. Z’s blog soliciting (name removed by moderator)ut from seminarians about the implementation of the TLM in their studies, I must admit that I was discouraged a bit. As I was telling myself that it wasn’t all bad … in fact, it has been only about 6 months since Summorum Pontificum was issued and the Church does not turn on a dime … I wondered if the state of the seminaries are a leading or a lagging indicator as to the state of the Church. From the sounds of it, conservative, orthodox seminarians are the “outsiders” - and that is not good. Here is the link to the post on Fr. Z’s blog:

One can hope that since the seminaries were unable to avert the plague of creative Masses over the past 40 years, they will again be unable to avert the return of the EF Masses in the near future. On a positive note, I did see several posts about OF Masses in Latin … it’s a start … I can work w/ that!
Any thoughts?
