Are sin wrappings ever okay when trying to reach the lost with the gospel truth?

I have confronted this “ ‘gay’, Catholic and conservative” blogger DREADNOUGHT before regarding the offensiveness of his blog site in trying to attract those entangled in the gay lifestyle with the light of the gospel. A recent revisit to his outreach blog showed that the graphic display has only gotten more explicit.

My broader question is: Is there any place in evangelization or outreach ministry for the wrappings of filth in order to bring the liberating and saving gospel message to those caught in the snares of sin? Does this sin wrapping do more bad than good in promoting the message of Jesus Christ to the lost and confused, as in sending a mixed message? Or is the familiar face of darkness the prop which the Holy Spirit can use to gain initial openness to the gospel message?

I suggest you don’t go to that blog or website. Might help yr blood pressure.

The Church has traditionally taught that a “good” outcome can never be justified by a “bad” end. Ergo, committing a sin to reach a sinner can never be anything but a sin.
