Are sins absolute in nature, or does God expect different things from different people? For example, I strongly feel the watching TV is sinful for me, and I do not feel I’m having scruples.

There are yes things which are objectively sinful (for example murder, lust, etc)

And yes as well there can be some things that would be sinful for some but not for others. Such is due to their particular difficulties.

And then there is the subjectivity of a person who may for example be invincibly ignorant regarding a particular moral matter and thus not as culpable for a sin or is not at all.

As to scruples - such should be avoided and those with such a struggle ought to have a regular confessor to guide them (I note this for readers).

Sins are objective. What is not objective is our culpablity to sin - the ammount of blame we bear.

For example, a 36 year old Catholic houswife from an affluent neighborhood who is well aware of Church teaching on abortion and decides that she doesn’t want the inconvenience of a fourth child would be more culpable than a sixteen year old girl from a broken home who had never been to Church and who had been pressured into an abortion by a boyfriend.

Both sin. Both are not culpable to the same extent.

What constitutes a ‘false god?’ Is ‘worshiping’ TV a false god?

The Catechism answers this nicely.
2113 Idolatry not only refers to false pagan worship. It remains a constant temptation to faith.** Idolatry consists in divinizing what is not God**. Man commits idolatry whenever he honors and reveres a creature in place of God, whether this be gods or demons (for example, satanism), power, pleasure, race, ancestors, the state, money, etc. Jesus says, "You cannot serve God and mammon."44 Many martyrs died for not adoring "the Beast"45 refusing even to simulate such worship. Idolatry rejects the unique Lordship of God; it is therefore incompatible with communion with God.46
Emphasis mine.
