Are sins forgotten to confess and confession forgiven?

I’m just wondering since about 4 or 5 years ago, I did something that I thought was alright and until now just realised it wasn’t okay, I have been to confession multiple times after I did this yet does that mean even though I didn’t confess. Since it was unintentional. Does that mean its forgiven?
 
When you received absolution, the sin was forgiven. It would not meet the criteria for “mortal sin” because you did not have sufficient knowledge of the sinfulness of the act (you thought it was alright). But if it is bothering you, weighing on your mind, then you should mention it to your Priest.

This is correct.

Yes, it has been forgiven. Based on your description it was only venial, so does not need to have been specifically absolved. Even if it was mortal, it would still have been forgiven, but would need to be specifically mentioned next time.

And if it still weighs on you, then mentioning it cannot hurt.
 
IMO yes. But try to remember it next time, it can’t hurt.

When ever I confess, after I’ve named everything that I can remember, I say, “And all sins I am not aware were sins, or that I can’t remember right now.”

It’s not that I’m a horrible sinner, but I sin like everyone else, and there are sooooo many things considered sin…like thoughts ect. I can’t possibly remember every tiny sin I commit. So that’s what I say and it’s accepted by the Roman Catholic Priests I go to, Of course, always confessing as much as I Can remember.
 
If one forgets a mortal sin (but one intended to confess all ones mortal sins and was repentant…) --it can be forgiven “indirectly” with the rest – one simply confesses it in the next confession once one remembers it.
 
Well at the time I did this I thought it was okay and that it wasn’t hurtin anyone but I already confessed like 20 times after and it was only now I found it was bad.

Now of course if something was not subjectively a “committed mortal sin” and one still confesses it --one is to note that it was not or that one is not sure or it is doubtful etc (depending on the case). So I would just confess it as it is before God (and that it is doubtful it it is) and tell the Priest why it was not confessed before…
