Are statues and images biblical?

I’m sure this question pops up all the time, but how does the Church reconcile worshiping statues of Mary and Jesus, and stained glass windows with angels when it says quite clearly in the Bible not to worship any representations of these things?
 
The Catholic Church does not need to reconcile the worshiping of statues and images of Jesus, Mary, the Saints and Angels because the Church only worships God, the Trinitarian persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Statues and stain glass windows represent biblical moments as well as faithful persons who lived lives of great faith.
