Are the 12 Apostle from line of Aaron?

My question is this:
My wife and I are heading up the Bible Timeline by Jeff Cavins and I was curious as to when Christ chose the twelve Apostles did they come from the line of Aaron (Levite tribe) knowing that only that tribe could offer sacrifice from a priestly order. Or are the twelve just random Jews from random tribes? Any clarity would help, thanks and God Bless.

While the Gospels do not tell us the tribes that the Apostles were from it ultimately would be irrelevant since Jesus established a new priesthood not dependent upon being descended from the Levite tribe.
