Are the SSPX in full communion with the Church or not?

Yiou know, this is really a hateful thing that is going on. There is only one reason for any poll to be set up as a public poll and that is a hateful thing to do. It has only the purpose of turning people against each other over a matter which is really not the laity’s perogative to decide.

It took an extra step in setting up the poll so that names of voters would be public. There is only one purpose and that purpose is to support witch-hunt mentality.

Most of us who come into the Traditional form of worship do so because we are really fed up with the Novus Ordo hate-based political tactics of divisive stealth. We state our faith and our doctrines openly, without double-speak. SSPX has been negotiating a very complicated line of principle with the Vatican and is NOT excommunicated. People who are voting on that poll may or may not be fully informed about the matter, and they should be able to vote privately.

I for one am fully aware that there are Catholics who attack others in their parishes based on rumors. This poll was designed to feed such rumors, to be able to claim that some innocent person here is a raving antisemite because of the propaganda around Bishop Woilliamson and the misleading impression the media gives that he is a true “leader” of Traditionals, for example. There are indeed people reading this thread who will use that poll to attack people in their parish committtees.

That is a favorite Novus Ordo tactic…

First let me say - I am not a member of SSPX. But their Bishops Apostolic Orders are valid. their Priests are validly ordained. And whether or not their status with the Magisterium is licit or illicit is not an issue when it comes to the Sacraments. And Catholic can satisfy their Sunday Obligation by frequenting SSPX Sacraments. Remember - once a priest alway a priest. Even if they are excommunicated - they can confect the sacraments provided they use the proper form matter and intent.

Look - the people who adhere themselves to modenism or to liberalism or the Conservative Folks who attend the Novus Ordo Missae have been providing misinformation about this for years . Read the Motu Proprio by Benedict. Or several Cardinals inlcuding Cardinal Hoyos on the subject. Yes the Church has spoken and the Sacraments themselves are valid. Prior to the Motu Proprio the TLM was off limits and bad according to those same people. A Sacrament to be Valid has to have proper Form Matter and Intent. So until these same people who make these claims can provide that Proof regarding the Ordination of Priests of SSPX - or irregularities in their Masses that proves conclusively they are invalid - the rest is just opinion.

Pax
Actually, their priest’s absolutions are invalid.
