Are the words important?

In the Nicene, my pastor changes it to ‘became A man’ because of Mary Daly’s claim that if ‘God is Man, then Man is God’: he accepts such foolishness unquestioningly. He also makes it ‘for us and our salvation’, of course.

At first, it threw everyone off, but since he usually skips the creed any way [says if we repeat it to often it looses meaning], he now has most of the congregation saying it his way.

Unbelievable. What the heaven is going on??? DOES ANYBODY ELSE SEE THIS HAPPENING??? Pretty soon the U.S. Catholic Church is going to fall apart, there will be 6000 catholic “denominations” just like Protestants, each choosing there words and doctrines at their own whim.

I AM SO FRUSTRATED I COULD SCREAM!!!

Many of us are with you tcasey, and yes, we are distressed with what is going on. So many of our parishes may have a sign out front saying they are a Catholic Church, but in reality they have ceased being Catholic. Many wise Catholics are predicting that in the near future the real Catholic Church will be forced underground.
