Lately, some of my family members have been drawn into watching the latest myriad of TV ghost stories such as “Ghost Hunters” and the like. I am aware that as a Catholic a soul is judged immediately and therefore should not be “hanging around” to haunt us. Some feel that there is nothing wrong but I cannot help but feel that watching TV programs such as this is somehow wrong. I would appreciate some guidance as to whether there is any church teachings on this subject.
