Talk with the pastor before the service. The LCMS practices close communion, so you will not be permitted to commune unless you are in imminent danger or the Pastor has special reason to make an exception.
Most all LCMS churches will bless non-communicants at the rail. General practice is for non-communicants to cross their arms over their chest (both adults and children).
Enjoy the preaching and the service. If it’s a traditional congregation, you will not notice much difference between the Lutheran Divine Service and the Roman Catholic Mass.
