We all know how special Padre Pio was/is. A person with that many graces from God doesn’t come along every day. Does anyone know of other “special” people, either religious or laity, who have that kind of reputation and who are alive today? :hmmm:

I came across a priest that brought some sins I try to deny. He saw through the intentions about my behavior.

Yes, there are genuine people with genuine charisms in the Catholic charismatic renewal. If you get involved in the Catholic charismatic renewal, or keep an eye out for catholic charismatic talks or retreats, They usually get someone special like that to talk occasionally.

Such as: Sr Briege McKenna, (nun with a healing ministry for priests). She has been on EWTN lots of times. She has a book out called “Miracles do Happen.”

Ireland: Eddie Stones (Google emmanuel house, Clonfert, Galway) For his website.
There are some youtube videos of Eddie Stones speaking at
Listen to some of his talks on Youtube “Eddie Stones healer” (Jesus is the healer, but healing is one of Eddie’s charisms,)
He has approval of his bishop and parish priest, and was given permission from Pope John Paul Ii to continue his ministry.

Some.of the Irish charismatic renewal Catholics with special charisms, currently alive:
John Gillespie, John Delaney, Noel Byrne, Fr Pat Collins, Breda Laffey, Larry Cummins,

But there are others in other countries.

The most popular USA catholic charismatic priest was Fr Robert De Grandis (currently alive but now retired).
Go to YouTube and type “Fr Robert De Grandis” to watch him speak at healing services. He has the charism of healing and many other charisms.
He has loads of books on the Holy Spirits gifts that can be gotten second hand on amazon.com

Fr Michael Scanlan TOR, of the Steubenville university is another.

Another would be:
Neal Lozano (a Catholic with Heart of the Father ministries, whose charism is deliverance. Who has.written books on this such as the book “Unbound”)

Stella Davis is a woman in the USA with many charisms from God, she has a book out called, “:spiritual warfare” by Stella Davis.
She has a website also, for ministry for women.

The books mentioned in this post are also available as ebook downloads from Amazon.com onto the free Kindle app,

Anyone able recommend some current catholic Charismatics who have special charisms, and who have websites, talks on Youtube, or books released? 🙂

Irish catholic charismatic Eddie Stones speaking at the International Divine Mercy conference held in Dublin, Ireland in 2008,

Eddie has the charisms of visions, word of knowledge, sometimes seeing someone’s sins, or seeing a soul in Purgatory who needs prayer,

He has seen Jesus, Our Lady, St Joseph, the light of Heaven and has seen Purgatory. He has also seen Saint Martin De Porres.
While praying the rosary the Holy Spirit speaks to him.
He mainly has the charism of healing from Jesus.

Damian Staynes is a London, England, catholic charismatic who is still in active ministry also

He has lots of videos up on youtube if you would like to hear him preaching or watch a Catholic healing service with him in ministry.

Another famous person is Fr. Isaac Mary Relyea, a famous preacher who spends many, many hours in the confessional. Although he seems to the otherwise a holy person, he sometimes unnecessarily criticizes Pope Francis, though he is in Communion with Rome
His friary site: stpiosfriary.com/

In America there is a woman who has the stigmata and visions of Our Lord, who has approval from her bishop,

Catalina Rivas, a housewife and grandmother from Cochabamba, Bolivia, who began receiving messages from Jesus and Mary in 1993 and who continues to receive messages.

If you type Catalina Rivas into youtube you can watch recent interviews or documentaries about her

Wow! So many! I’ll have to look them up. Thanks! Nice to know the Holy Spirit is still working. I’d love to see some of these folks in person.

Look up the national catholic charismatic website for your state/ country.
Keep an eye out for upcoming catholic charismatic healing services, speakers, retreats and conferences.
Join a Catholic charismatic prayer group near you and this will keep you informed for upcoming catholic charismatic events.

There are three catholic charismatic priests in my Country with the gift of visions and healing. (Jesus is the healer but He gives His gift to certain special people).

I imagine there are a lot of living saints out there who are not part of the charismatic movement and of whom no one ever heard.

Indeed, and I’d also imagine most, if not all of whom would prefer to slide under the radar.

This is another Irish person with charisms, specifically the charism of the Souls in Purgatory.

Our Lady speaks to him through the power of the Holy Spirit when he says Hail Marys.

It all started when he attended a Catholic Charismatic healing service.

He retired from ministry just this year, but his website has two free downloadable ebooks about his life.

I have met a few in my community over the years. I doubt they will ever become well known inside the Catholic circles like Mother Teresa, and a long list of other wonderful people. That said, they are simple humble loving people that are touching lives with their love while making their community a better place.

Though Fr Isaac Mary seems to be with Rome, I’d would be careful of listening to some of his sermons. Yes he seems otherwise holy, but he contradicts Vatican II on salvation outside of the Church.
