Never heard of these. One thing that’s good about this forum is I learn something new everyday.Don’t forget the ‘skullet’ (bald on top but long back)
and the ‘fe-mullet’ (for lesbians)

There used to be a hilarious website called mulletsgalore.com that educated me on all the different styles…sadly gone now.Never heard of these. One thing that’s good about this forum is I learn something new everyday.![]()
I’m looking forward to retiring from my uniformed private security job next year, so I can re-grow my mulletOnly mullets are sinful…
I am a woman that has had mohawks before (now I would wear them down at work), but I would have to say it never caused a problem for me finding employment. It also greatly depends on you line of employment as well. I have had one in California, Connecticut, and Louisiana and they never were a problem Times are a changing. How old are you? If you are an adult, I hope you realize that such a hair style can seriously have a negative effect on your employment. And, if you are a youth, your school officials are likely to have a dim view of your choice of hair style.
I will say though, that here in New York City, Mohawk hair dos are considered passe and only prentious country bumpkins (for you in Australia- unsophisticated people from the bush) wear them.
…and the “fro-llet”–an afro and a mullet combine!Don’t forget the ‘skullet’ (bald on top but long back)
and the ‘fe-mullet’ (for lesbians)

I apologize that I don’t have an answer for you as I have never thought of hair styles as being moral or immoral, but I do have a question for you–well actually two:I’m considering getting a mohawk. Not a big one and not shaving the sides either, just short. Something like this: www1.pictures.stylebistro.com/bg/Dior+fashion+show+in+Paris+rjcxs8aMWool.jpg
Is there anything wrong with this? I’d most likely wear it down at mass anyway.
1. How old are you?
2. Why do you want a mohawk?

If you have the time I would seriously like to know. What does it say to you? or mean to you? What is it that is appealing about it to you? Are you trying to send a message or make a statement? What is that message or statement? Do your peers have similar hair styles? I don’t ask these questions in judgment–its just a hair style but I am currious about the factors behind your wanting this hair style.Code:1. How old are you? 2. Why do you want a mohawk?
Peace,

Yes, that is what I was thinking as well. I don’t see any problem with fauxhawk hairdos, but I have heard that some consider a traditional Mohawk to be culturally offensive when worn by individuals who are not part of the Mohawk nation.Technically, that photo is a faux-hawk, not a mohawk. You gotta shave the sides for a mohawk.
