This a good answer TheSufi. 👍 MJ
ok let me rephrase the question.

if the family member declared to all to hear, “I am no longer a muslim, I am a bible believing born again Christian saved by the blood Jesus Christ shed for me at Calvary on the cross, and Jesus Christ, whose spirit reigns in me, is God”…

Would they be allowed to continue living with their family, within their neighborhood without any consequenses because of their conversion to Christianity?

Great question! Why don’t you begin a thread on it?

I agree with 1Tim215Mommy. This is an excellent question deserving a separate thread.

Arabic speaking Christians call God Allah too. So how can you denounce the name God and be Christian?
This is a good point. It is important for people in the west to understand that millions of Christians worship Allah. Also, that they refer to Hi as

Al Masih Isa Ibn Allah. “The Messiah Jesus Son Of God”

Muslims, however, do not regard there to be a DNA connection, so to speak, between Jesus and God (Allah). Rather, they regard Him as an Apostle of God, whether Shiah or Sunni.

The sun shines upon all of us every day, all over the world. It is the same sun shining, no matter what word we use to call it, or whether we don’t call it anything.

We all speak different languages. We may say sun, sol, etc.

We may say Allah, God, or Great Spirit

What is Sufism/Irfan?

God Bless

In Islam, we divide our religion into three parts.

Aqida - Islamic Theology or Belief (relates how we think) How we understand God, Angels, Prophets Messenger etc.
Fiqh - Islamic Law (relates to our actions) how we worship, buy or sell things, and interact with people.
Tasawwuf - Sufism/Irfan Islamic Spirituality (relates to our heart and spirit) Sincerity towards God, reliance on God, love of God and experiencing God.
