Hello,
Could you clarify if there is an exception from the Sunday obligation - if I am on vacation, where there is no Catholic Church? Or should I not choose to go to such places at all, because it is not work obligation or something like that? Or should I obtain dispensation from my parish priest (or is that given only if I have a just and serious reason, I don’t want to misuse it)?
(The particular situation is that I am going to dancing trainings all year and there is a big, international festival, which takes place over the weekend and is just once an year, there is no option to be on it and go to church at the same time.) Similar situation would be if I choose to go to a mountain trip for a week, up in the mountains there would be no Catholic Church.
