I am currently in high school and I am considering living in a Catholic seminary. However, I cannot seem to find any high school seminaries in Western US. Any help?
There is one in Colorado Springs, however they are currently not in good standing with their local Bishop
There is also one in British Columbia
But Minor Seminaries (aka High School Seminaries in the US) are not as popular in the First World nation anymore, partly because the literacy rate in the first world is very high. One of the primary roles of the high school seminaries (called Minor Seminary in the rest of the world) was to make sure there were good Catholic boys learned how to read before College Seminary
However, I do highly recommend that you check out the following site for a Catholic high school near you that is on this list
This organization offers accreditation to private Catholic schools (independent of the local diocese, yet approved by the local diocese) which are faithful to the teachings of the Church.
