Are there good resources on Evolution vs Creationism?

What is the Catholic Church’s teaching regarding how long the earth has been in existence and how the dinosaurs are explained? I am Homeschooling my 15 year old who is confused as she was in a traditional (Catholic) school that pretty much jammed evolution down her throat without giving her the other theories or Church teaching regarding this matter. The science books in our curriculum are Christian (author Wile), not Catholic. Where can we look?
