Are there other saintly priests like these two?

I read about St John Vianney and St Padre Pio, these two priests had similar experiences with the devil and wanting to hear confessions all day long. I just wondered if there were any more like them?

Any and all exorcist priests. They confront evil head on - one purpose of which is to restore that person’s right relationship with God. It is healing. The Sacrament of Penance goes hand-in-hand with being freed from demonic influence, oppression or worse.

Sadly, it seems that the world is beginning to live out Dante’s Inferno. I pray that our culture, like the life of an addict, will bottom out and then, with the Grace of God, turn from this path of destruction. He knows the good that will come from this - we do not.

I think our victory will be in the next life, not in this one. Just cling to Jesus and what we know to be True.

Yes, St Leopold Mandic. He was known for hearing confessions over a period of 40 years. He would often be in the confessional 13-15 hours a day.

A few years ago the Vatican displayed his relics for a time alongside St Padre Pio’s. They were both Capuchins, “holy porters” and renowned confessors.

As for saints who battled the devil or demons, many did that, including St Martin de Porres and St Teresa of Avila.
