Are there "varying degrees" of Hell?

We know that in Heaven, there is a hierarchy of angels (i.e. some “blessed” more than others). I’ve also heard it expressed that the amount of good we do on this Earth will also put us into a certain position in Heaven (assuming one goes there). So for example, St. Pio will probably have a higher glory in Heaven than the everyday “do-gooder”.

Is there a similar class system in Hell? Murderers for example being punished more severely than someone who continually engaged in the sin of lust and its derivatives?

As the worst punishment of Hell is eternal separation from God which everyone in Hell gets it doesn’t really matter if there are other punishments because they are not as great as this one.
