I already know how to do basic things such as bold, italics, hidden text, etc. I’m just wondering if there are ways to do these things:
-Reply to multiple people at once
-Comment very large text (I’ve seen it in replies on my tablet so it may just be a formatting issue
-Do any other cook formatting tricks
Im new so this would help! 😛

Hi @ModernCatholic,

You can change some things by going into your browser’s Settings section, depending on what browser you’re using. This would be where you would find these options so that you can change them.

You can change the browser’s font there, and also the size of the text too, if you wanted to do that. That will change the text size for your screen. You can enlarge it if you wanted to do that, or make it smaller.

As for replying to multiple people here on the forum, you can use the @ symbol, and then type the person’s username after the symbol in your Reply box when you’re typing your comments in a post.

That will notify them in that post that you’re mentioning their name. You can list a group of members this way, if you want to.

Ok! But wouldn’t changing my font only affect my screen. And the effect seemed to look the same on different post meaning ot seems like it was something just like doing _ _ or ** **.

It will affect what the type looks like on your particular browser screen.

For example in Chrome, you go into Settings, and then go into Customize Fonts, and then go to Standard Fonts.

You can then choose from a whole menu of different fonts in the browser. It will change it on your screen for you. You can choose from Times New Roman, Arial, Verdana, and so on.

You can also change the text size for your browser as well, as I already mentioned.

There are other options that you can find in the Chrome store. You’d have to check there if you want to do other things if you use Chrome as one of your browsers. I haven’t had a chance to look around there and see what’s out there.

With some forums, you can put in colored text when you type your post, and you can enlarge it, too. It depends on the forum software, and what options it offers.

I typed dashes under my last word and it bolded when the reply posted.

As for replying to multiple people here on the forum,
On a computer mouse (not sure about a phone), you can also left click and scroll across a person’s text, release and then click the “quote” symbol when it appears. You can do that numerous times and they will all appear in the same new combox so you can reply to multiple people at once.

"Red Text"
Oh darn! Welp I guess I figured out the trick! This editor uses Markdown, BBCode, and HTML like it says! There’s actually a whole bunch of tricks you can do. Like probably hundreds (okay maybe not hundreds) but you can search up markdown, BBCode, and HTML text tricks and see which ones work on here.
