In our culture, no. There are certain exceptions as when the liturgy explicitly calls for it at the ordination ceremony of a priest when the faithful are asked to give their approval for the one who is asking for Holy Orders by their applause. But these ARE exceptions. Jumping is never appropriate. The Lord is far more than a rock star. He is God, after all and deserves that we publicly acknowledge Him in a respectful and dignified way.
