1.Catholicism
2.Catholic Christianity by Peter J. Kreeft
3.Roman Catholicism in America by Chester Gillis

I posted this in here because the book forum is locked

Good Luck finding them at RPL… I currently have all the Catholic and conversion books checked out from there. But I will be done with the Catechism soon. It was too hard a read for me and I need to return Mere Christianity, as well as find out what they do to people who’s tape players eat the tapes from Audio Books.

Also, I wanted to say that It is nice to meet someone here who is in Smallsbury, and you are so young. I am proud of you making the choice to be Catholic. Looking forward to RCIA classes this fall. 👍

Oh yeah… Surprised by Truth by Patrick Madrid was the book that started it all for me, and they have the 3rd one at RPL.

I don’t know those books, but I just wanted to say God bless you both on your journey into the Catholic Church 🙂

It’s great you both want to be Catholic, you have my prayers and respect.

I always enjoy hearing what influences make people want to become Catholic and what religion they converted from, if any.

Some tape players eat tapes, but in some cases it is because the tape itself has some slack in it and a loop forms. One way to avoid this is to take a pencil or pen and turn the little wheels enough to tighten up the slack between the spools. Good luck. Hope you both enjoy RCIA. 🙂

I know Peter Kreeft is pretty good.
Absolutely, Kreeft will bring amazing new insight to things that you thought you new about the faith.

Another great book is Life of Christ by Fulton Sheen. Amazing.👍
