You’ve asked a question none of us know the answer to. At least from an empirical standpoint. From a faith standpoint I’d offer the communion of saints, but I guess we will all have to wait till we go through that final door to ‘know’ the answer.

I think the question isn’t “are they present with us (in church)?” but “are we present with them (at the Supper of the Lamb)?”

And, I’d assert, the answer is “yes… we are present with the saints in heaven at the Supper of the Lamb every time we celebrate the Mass”…!
