Are we forgiven by God through his Church only? Or are there other ways of being forgiven?

Christ forgives through the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Not sure what you mean, Can you rephrase the question?

what i mean by the second question. Is the Church mandatory to receive forgiveness from God, for say, Mortal sin?

I mean there’s perfect contrition and for venial sins I guess a bunch of stuff can remit them.

The Catholic Church is the only church that offers the Sacrament of Reconciliation. So in that context, yes, In Confession you can be ASSURED of forgiveness.
Can other people f other faiths be forgiven? I suppose they are all the time.
But its the assurance of having that sin wiped clean and the grace received that is so beautiful.

Are we forgiven by God through his Church? Well, actually it is how we are forgiven by God. The Sacrament of Reconciliation mends our break from the Church, opening the path to the Source and Summit of our Christian Faith, the Eucharist, which without the sacrament, we are left unable to approach the table that feeds us on our journey to the Promised Land.

Pax et Bonum!

In a sense, yes, because ALL graces flow through the Church. The Church (yes, THE Church, the one Catholic Church) is the Mystical Body of Christ. So eliminating the Church is the same as eliminating Christ, and that makes no sense. Therefore, whether people realize it or not, all forgiveness does come through the Church.

In the case of someone who asks God’s forgiveness outside the visible structure of the Church, if/when God forgives, He still does so through the Church—although the one being forgiven might not know that, or might not even accept it.
