Are we okay to christen our new baby?

I met my partner over a year ago who is a catholic and I am, at the moment, a non-Catholic but fully intend on becoming one.

Unfortunately one thing had let to another despite our best intentions and we are not yet married however have just had a baby girl Rebekah. We are due to get married next summer and it has made me sad that things have not been done the correct way.

We both want to christen our daughter but will the church allow this?
 
Yes, you can still have your baby baptized in the Catholic Church. The only thing required is a promise to raise the child as a Catholic. The parents’ marital situation is not relevant to whether a child can be baptized.
