I know this may sound far fetched, but this has really made me pause and give this much thought. Sacred Scripture prefigures many things that have happened, and many things that are yet to come. Catholic Church’s are being burnt to the ground in many places around the world, and whole congregations are being murdered. I also think its very frightening that the main-stream/secular media is deadly silent about this at the same time. I will attach a link that I want everyone to view that ties in with this thread below as well. Prayerfully read Chronicles-Chapter 36: verses 15-22. Are we re-living this in our time?

Considering the rapid rate of cataclysmic events, and the demographic and political shifts that seem to be on warp speed, one would be hard pressed not to feel that we are headed for some major world changing event. Whether this forebodes the end times or not is a matter that has been debated since the Ascension.

Regardless, live a chaste Holy life, do penance and make frequent use of the Confessional. Perfect insurance for whatever comes.

I guess this might make more people think about it and give their opinions as they see fit, if I actually print the passage out here, and give some strong feelings that I have besides the link that Iv’e already posted.

**Dissolution of Judah. ** Early and often did the Lord, the God of their father, send his messengers to them, for he had compassion on his people and his dwelling place. But they mocked the messengers of God, despised his warnings, and scoffed at his prophets, until the anger of the Lord against his people was so inflamed that there was no remedy. Then he brought up against them the king of the Chaldeans, who slew their young men in their own sanctuary building, sparing neither young man nor maiden, neither the aged or the decrepit; he delivered all of them into his grip. All the untensils of the house of God, the large and the small, and the treasures of the Lord’s house and of the king and his princes, all these he brought to Babylon. They burnt the house of God, tore down the walls of Jerusalem, set all its palaces afire, and destroyed all its precious objects.

I have more thoughts that go along with this passage besides the link Iv’e already posted that tie in with this as well. I see many similarities between this reading and things that I’m seeing now in our time. I have to get ready for work now, but I will add more later.
