I just read that tithing 10% of income is no longer an obligation because it was only binding to the Jews, however we should, according to scripture: “on the first day of every week, each of you is to put something aside and store it up, as he may prosper. (1 Cor. 16:2)”.
If for financial purposes, I find it easier to simply donate one larger sum (total of what would be given weekly) once a month, would this still be acceptable, or must it be weekly, each Sunday?
