Are wedding vows "In the name of the Creator" valid?

I recently attended the wedding of a friend, with a Catholic priest presiding, in a ceremony without Mass. (The groom is Catholic, the bride is not.) Each spouse spoke the vows, following the lead of the priest, in the words “I ______ take you _____ to be my wife/husband. I will love you and honor you. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, from this day forward. In the name of the Creator, and of the Redeemer, and of the Holy Spirit.” Are the vows valid, with that pseudo-trinitarian formula?

Yes. they are valid. Nevertheless. the priest does not have the authority to make such changes in the marriage rite.
