not sure if convert or revert

nothing > Jevohas Witness > Catholic (uneducated) > agnostic > atheist > agnostic > non denom Christian > Educated and practicing Catholic

became Catholic as a kid because my cousins were and I demanded to be Catholic because it was older than my current JW religion - left in highschool cause I was poorly catechized and now I am back largely in part in thanks to this site!

After I logged in the message was gone, it didn’t show the bars and had a click button choice of yes or no. When you are logged in, does the message under the bar chart still say you can’t vote?
Yes, I still cannot vote after logging in:mad:

Baptized Lutheran (as a baby) - agnostic (until age 46) - Catholic!

Heathen> Pentecostal>Roman Catholic

Free at last, Lord almighty I’m free at last! :amen:

Yep!
Started my life with a nominally Christian family. And I mean -really- nominally. We celebrated Christmas, sure, but I was never baptized as an infant and religion was never discussed.
Then around the time I was 17, I decided to convert to Catholicism. Long story, but it’s changed my life. 😃

Born in a 6th generation Mormon family. Converted to Catholicism in 2009.

It took a HUGE reconfiguration of my beliefs and practices, in particular how I prayed. It still feels really weird seeing alcohol at church functions 😛

Revert actually, Catholicism => Judaism

I was baptised Catholic as a baby, both parents were Catholic, my grandmother were Jewish, my Grandfather was Catholic.
Grandparents on my fathers’ side were Jewish. My Grandpa on my fathers’ side is still alive and he survived Dachau. One day I will get drunk, and when I’m drunk enough I will call him. I found out that he lives in Croatia. I want to know if my lineage is the one of King David.
„…if you think it required a major reconfiguration of your beliefs…”
Not really. It all happens rather naturally, like a river flowing into the sea; it’s as if my beliefs had always been there somehow.

Protestant fundamentalist preacher’s kid> agnostic hedonist>member of a dangerous gnostic cult>Conversion Experience!!!>conservative Presbyterian (PCA)>Catholic (and very glad to be home)

Eastern Orthodox -------> Catholic. The Petrine Verses sealed the deal.

I’m a convert who doesn’t let a single day go by without giving thanks for it!

504Katrin,

Sorry for my confusion, I don’t understand, are you Jew now? Then you reverted to which religion?
Sorry I didn’t communicate this too well.

Yes, I’m a Jewess.

I reverted from Catholicism to Judaism.

Freemasonry > Catholicism
Interesting! I am very curious about the “real story” about Freemasonry, and how valid some of the negative stories are. I know very little about it. My grandfather was a Mason, but I never learned anything about it while he was alive.

practicing Catholic raised in the Church. I practice harder and more frequent these days.

Great to see many converting.
