Are you a liberal or a conservative?

I’m a liberal to conservatives and a conservative to liberals. I’m proudly a conserberal-or a liberative-depends on my mood.
 
On here, people think I’m an extreme liberal.

On some non-religious forums I visit, people think I’m an extreme conservative.

In reality, I am an anarcho-capitalist.

I guess you could say *classical *liberal, but that’s not fully accurate.

It’s a long story.
 
You must define the terms for us before we can really answer. After all a classical liberal is different from a modern day liberal. The same holds true for conservatives.
 
I’m an orthodox Catholic…I’m neither liberal or conservative, I’m - like many others on Catholic Answers will say - am Catholic first and foremost. However, many of my 'takes" interpretations and understandings might be characterized as progressive, so I am a happy free spirited progressive orthodox…how’s that 🙂

I don’t like either the Republicrats or the Democlicans. Neither have brought forth key issues pertinent to our actual situation at home or in the world. Whoever said that democracy tends towed mediocracy was right. And the other parties don’t offer much more. They almost all are willing to spend gazillions to bring “democracy” to places that might actually be better off without it, and spend huge amounts ensuring that it declines into a plutocratic corporatocracy here.

I’m pretty conservative, which isn’t surprising considering I come from Texas.
 
The world is going downhill fast. Neither party can change that. I’m Catholic. Period.
 
I have been accused of being a liberal here, but really I am so conservative that I am not comfortable with Aquinas. In fact, I am so conservative that I am not even completely comfortable with St. Paul.

Let’s get back to the primitive roots of Christianity- hermits and saints wandering through the desert…

Politically, I am so conservative I don’t believe in capitalism, fiat currency, the independence of the USA, etc…

We are all liberal and conservative. If by liberal we mean free spirits, we all have free will to choose our path in life. If by conservative we mean we should use that freedom to choose God, I am conservative. What I find odd is that very often the so-called liberal denies our free will; and the so-called conservative often does not choose God.
 
I am Catholic. I am neither liberal or conservative, as both are liberal Enlightenment philosophies fundamentally opposed to Catholicism.

Any support I give a conservative is only the a manifestation of my opposition to an even worse liberal alternative.

People would say I’m conservative, though I dislike the label, because I do not identify with any popular political party or philosophy, and on a very basic level, there is very little I want to “conserve” of the status quo, and I’d much rather “progress” to a more Catholic future.
 
I am neither and in the past year I have come to believe strongly that both major parties in the U.S., whether knowingly or unknowingly, with whatever degree of willingness, and however directly or indirectly, work for the Evil One. I don’t know much beyond that but I do do a lot of speculating on the details (i.e., entertaining conspiracy theories) which is possibly a waste of time at best. I should focus more on my own spiritual life and let the Lord resolve the world’s problems like He promised He would.
 
I disagree strongly on many issues with people who call themselves liberal.
I don’t grab the tag conservative for myself, I’m just trying to be Catholic.
