My undergraduate degree was in languages and literature, and masters and PhD in political science.

It is really interesting to see what kind of educational backgrounds people have here. Quite a variety.

Molecular Biology
Great to see molecular biology make the list!

I’m currently working on my bachelors in Animal Science, and I will probably, finally, actually dual-major in Biochemistry (I’m still a freshman…).

I hope to get a PhD eventually in animal science or biochem, and research sheep diseases and or genetics, catalytic RNA, or something similar, as well as teach. I may also decide to get a DVM.

Undergrad… still a junior. took a bit of hiatus from school and three changes to my major. now a Biology major. I hope to get into the Anesthesiology program.

  • Bachelors in journalism, public relations and advertising
  • A “diploma” from a music conservatory in Austria.
-Currently working as a full-time Mommy and a professional classical singer/opera singer. I still haven’t made back all the money spent on my studies since I was 4-years-old, but it was never about making a boat-load of money for me. 😛

Because I am “just a mommy” and “just a musician”, my value as a member of society tends to be looked down upon. They aren’t, apparently, “real jobs”. That’s ok. At least I’m happy, contented, fulfilled and feel blessed for what I have in my life and blessed by the beautiful people I’ve come in contact with due to my “fake” jobs.

BA, MA, Ph.D–all in political science with special expertise in parties, campaigns, elections, political philosophy.

Almost-BA in Music Education (lacked student teaching semester; after 45 years I still have dreams about being back at Butler to finish my degree, it’s exam time, and I don’t have a clue what’s going on 😛 )

BA summa cum laude in Russian.

MA in Soviet/East European Studies (pretty much worthless now, except to demonstrate that I had the perseverance to see it through).

I also have enough credits in Arabic that if they had all been from one school and in one program, I’d have a BA in that as well.

So what am I doing now? Overseeing physical security at a small factory in Alabama.

Just curious. All members are welcome to participate.

If yes, what was your area of study?
Hello,

I have a J.D. and am a practicing attorney, but also enrolled in Steubenville’s Master’s in Theology program - first semester.

Undergrad, have an AS in Networking Security. Don’t know when I’ll go for a BA.

Still an undergrad, going for my English degree and a teaching certificate. 🙂

Totally real jobs I wouldn’t have traded my (mostly) stay at home mom for the world.

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering focus in Transportation Engineering

Master’s Degree in Applied Economics focus in Mathematical Economics and Econometrics

Ph.D. in Civil Engineering focus in Transportation Economics.

My degrees are basically related to applied microeconomic modeling, and applied econometric modeling of travel demand, and estimation of user benefits from transportation projects.

I got nuttin’ - I ain’t got no collage learning in the head.

Undergrad in Nursing, working towards postgrad.
Although my kiddies and hubby keep me very busy! 😛

I have been blessed to have obtained the following degrees:
Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene
Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene
Doctor of Dental Surgery

I’m enjoying reading what other’s are doing. I’m a firm believer in the fact that it doesn’t matter how much education you’ve obtained, what matters is who you are in this world.

I’m also “Mommy” to 3 dogs and 2 cats. 😃

I can’t participate. I am uneducated, illiterate and socially inept. :o
I’m UN-literate. I choose not to be cuz it’s just another tool for the man to hold ya down.

Actually…I was 4 classes short of an engineering degree 25 years ago. It was close enough I guess!
